Springer Theatricals set to return in 2019

Springer Theatricals has enjoyed bringing theatre across the country for 27 years. However, due to a shrinking market and increased costs, we’ve decided to take a hiatus for 2018. Our mission has always been to bring theatre to underserved communities as well as provide a high quality, low cost, product to all of our venues. We see ourselves as a partner with each of you in the quest to grow your audiences and increase support for live theatre.

We are taking a step back to re-imagine Springer Theatricals to ensure that we are best serving the current needs of the American Theatre community. We invite each of you to share any thoughts and concerns about what your organization values most from a touring show. Feel free to share thoughts on show title and type, budget concerns, scheduling, workshop opportunities, or any other way we could alter our current model to better suit the needs of our presenter partners.

We are planning to re-vamp and return for 2019 and will be in touch when we know more about what Springer Theatricals will be available to provide to you in the future.

Thank You!

A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline would like to thank the fantastic audiences we’ve had throughout this tour. It’s been a pleasure to bring this beautiful music to life.

Route 66

route-66-poster-imageA rip-roaring, pedal-to-the-medal road trip down memory lane featuring hits such as “Dead Man’s Curve,” “King of the Road,” “Little Old Lady from Pasadena,” “Six Days on the Road,” “GTO,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around”and, of course, “Route 66.” Four snappy young pump jockeys take the audience to various stops along the historic “Mother Road” where a menagerie of characters sing and dance to timeless pop and country tunes.

The ’50s music in this show is energizing and fun for all ages. From the jazzy pop of Chicago, the two-stepping hoedown of Texas and the beach-bumming car jams of California — this show has it all. This is the road trip of a lifetime with solid harmonies, dazzling quick-changes, flashy dance numbers and hilarious comedic timing. “Get your kicks…..on Route 66.”
